WEDDING CLAUDIA & BJARNE IN ITALY

Claudia and Bjarne’s wedding in Italy was really special to me. We’ve known each other for a few years now and our story started with a couple shoot - or actually more of a surprise engagement shoot. Claudia had booked a regular session in Antwerp but Bjarne had other plans: he proposed to her during the shoot! We found a lovely location together, planned everything in secret, and it turned into such a magical moment - one I’ll never forget and definitely not Claudia either.

Later, they also asked me to capture their civil wedding in Belgium, which was just a few weeks before their big day in Italy. And this was actually the third time we got to meet, and it was another unforgettable one. The wedding took place on the grounds of a museum with a dreamy Italian vibe - it was gorgeous.

What made this wedding even more special was that I travelled with my friend and the best makeup artist, Ellada. When we saw the ceremony was scheduled for the evening (because of the heat), we thought: why not use the morning for something extra?

We suggested a bridal morning shoot - and I absolutely love moments like that. Calm, intimate before the buzz of the day starts. Claudia wore a simple, elegantdress and we did a soft, beautiful session just of her. Honest and relaxed.

After that, she changed into her wedding gown and the day officially began - full of love, laughter, connection and so many wonderful memories. Truly one for the books.
